From time to time, I will get a request for a 2–hour massage. The scheduling staff gets concerned if I need a longer break after that with the work that’s performed. And to me, I have extra time in there since I didn’t need to change the sheets for the last 30 to 60 minutes of their session. Now, I will request a break if I already know the session is going to be more than two hands full of work. And, after today’s I did make myself a peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich. What can you possibly do in 2 hours? Well, for some clients, this may be their standard, pending on how far they traveled, now that you have to zoom on an expressway and through the woods to find me 🤣😂. If you travel 600 miles, there is a good chance I’ll find two hours. And, for a particular client, it may be a pit stop that happens as part of their Great Migration. For all of my clients, I make it a goal to have any of their “kneads” met by the end of the session. Sure, the setting and music are different whenever I migrate, but the service is spot-on the way you remember it, sometimes even with something I pulled out of my back pocket. This is why I am always learning and eager to serve. No matter the length of your session, I pledge to serve you throughout whatever journey you face. The message is well received, and I’m blessed to have such an impact on people’s life. #greatmigration #120minutemassage #twohourmassage #service #kneadsaremet #knowledge #pledge #thankyou #findyourflowridethewave🌊

Blue Zone offers up some great “just move” suggestions! Here’s some others to add to the menu: 🤔 1. Walk More:** Aim to walk as much as possible. Walking is a natural, low-impact activity that can be easily integrated into daily life. 2. Stretch Regularly:** Incorporate stretching throughout the day to improve flexibility and reduce stiffness. 3. Practice Functional Movements:** Engage in movements that mimic daily activities, such as squatting, bending, lifting, and reaching. 4. Outdoor Activities:** Spend time outdoors engaging in activities like hiking, gardening, or playing sports. Natural environments often encourage varied and dynamic movement. 5. Incorporate Play:** Playful activities like dancing, playing with pets, or participating in recreational sports can make movement enjoyable. 6. Stand More:** Reduce prolonged sitting by standing or using a standing desk. Try to take short breaks to stand and move around. 7. Use Active Transportation:** Bike or walk to destinations instead of driving whenever possible. 8. Do Household Chores:** Cleaning, cooking, and other household chores can be good sources of natural movement. 9. Join a Class or Group:** Participate in yoga, pilates, tai chi, or other group classes that emphasize natural and mindful movement. By integrating these practices into your daily life, you can enhance your health through more natural and varied movement. . #justmovemore #movemenu #pickyours #rjhfitperspectivellc #certified #personaltrainer #nutritioncoach #runwalkcoach #nutritionstrengthmovement #doallthree #everyweek (No content on this site, regardless of date, should ever be used as a substitute for direct medical advice from your doctor or other qualified clinician. Patrick McKeown recently spoke at The Mater Hospital in Dublin, Ireland discussing the benefits of breathing exercises for improving mindfulness, managing stress and anxiety, and enhancing public speaking skills. During his talk, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the body and breath, rather than just the mind, to bring a sense of calm and clarity. Patrick highlighted the benefits of nose breathing for better sleep and cognitive function, and shared results from a pilot study demonstrating the effectiveness of simple breathing exercises in reducing nasal symptoms. He also discussed various breathing exercises for relaxation and nose opening, and encourages listeners to practice breathing techniques to improve blood flow and induce relaxation. Did you know your office chair was designed by someone who probably never worked in an office? Shocking, we know! Most of us spend hours sitting at our desks, and those little aches and pains can creep in without us even noticing. But here's the thing—if you don’t take care of them now, they can turn into bigger problems down the road. Here’s how to help yourself (and your poor, overworked body): Stand up, stretch, and do a little dance. It’s the perfect break and a great way to confuse your coworkers. Set a reminder to move every hour. Or just pretend you’re going for coffee. Nobody questions a coffee run. These small pains are your body’s way of saying, “I need a break!” And by break, we don’t mean scrolling on your phone for 5 minutes. We mean actual movement. Get up, stretch, and reset! Take care of your body, and it’ll take care of you. Remember, you’re not alone in this battle. We’re here to help you conquer office pain! Feeling the burn (and not in a good way)? Don't hesitate to reach out to us at Ortho Labs. We’re here to help you live pain-free. P.S. If anyone asks, we didn’t tell you to do that little dance. 😉
