April 28 of every year is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, organized by the International Labour Organization in order to promote the importance of health and safety and the prevention of accidents in all types of workplaces. Although preventing injuries is key, when accidents happen, we are here to help with our comprehensive Worker’s Compensation Program. Our expert therapists not only help patients recover from work-related injuries but also return to work safely and prevent re-injury. Learn more here: https://nuvi.me/6htfcn

OSHA and employment lawyer | helps employers avoid or minimize OSHA citations (200+ fatalities) | strategic management of employment law compliance and litigation | Board Certified | Client Service All-Star (BTI)
In this episode of Dirty Steel-Toe Boots, I'm joined by Lauren Lenhart in discussing how we prepare clients for an OSHA informal settlement conference. We cover the aftermath of an OSHA citation, including the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission’s (OSHRC) analysis of the citation, a preliminary assessment of the classification of each citation, negotiation of a monetary penalty for each citation, documentation of abatement, and investigation of citations. We also explain the importance of discussing corrective measures with OSHA and demonstrating the employer’s commitment to safety. Give it a listen! Link below!
