Traditionally we think of trophies as a base and a body (Cup, Statue or Column), however Lenovo took to the stage with a technologically advanced trophy blending design with modern interactive features. 🐉 The trophy combined traditional Chinese symbols and a design inspired by dragon imagery 💻 The trophy provided an interactive experience, through sensors that activated various lighting modes during the award ceremony. These modes included: ⭕️ Chase a loop: simulating the high speed of F1 cars on the track 🏎 Spin around the trophy: representing the spin of car wheels ☯️ Revolve: Symbolizing the balance of yin and yang 🌬️ Pulse: Emulating the powerful breath of a waking dragon. The trophy was developed in a collaboration between Lenovo & Pininfarina as well as looking great it had a meaningful purpose. Different Strokes for Different Folks South Korea's Kim Yeji and Türkiye's Yusuf Dikec have gone viral for how exceptionally different their approach performing in pistol shooting at the Paris games is. Besides both now being Olympic Silver Medalists, they share one thing in common - they've found what they need to be comfortable to perform. For Kim, it's the glasses and a stuffed toy key chain attached to her belt. For Dikec it's sheer minimalism. The key takeaway from this now viral image is this - You need to find your own way to be prepared and comfortable to perform. You can take bits from another athlete's pre-performance routine or in-performance approach, but you have to find exactly what works for you. It takes time, trial and error, and experience to find a formula that works best. Just don't get too caught up in superstition or be too rigid with it. Let it be adaptable and be prepared for it to change over time.
