We love our outdoor living in Australia and regularly incorporate Sliding Doors into the Family Room/Living Room areas of our homes. This allows the easy expansion of these indoor areas to outdoors. Unfortunately, Sliding Doors don't often perform well thermally. However, as architectural design and manufacturing processes have evolved over the years, so has the definition of the standard size window. While there are certainly sizes considered common to the industry, the standard still varies depending on the manufacturer, product line, window type, and other features.
