Day 6 Takeaways from The Purpose Driven Life - Life Is A Temporary Assignment 1. Life on earth is extremely brief compared with Eternity, and the earth is our temporary residence. 2. As we sojourn here on earth, we must learn contact without contamination. 3. It takes faith to live on earth as a foreigner 4. When life gets tough, when overwhelmed with doubt or wondering if living for God is worth the effort, we must be reminded we are not home yet What are your takeaways?

As you go through life always endeavor to live a kind of life that will leave a lasting lively legacy wherever you appear, something that people around you can attest to even in your absence. Don't be caught up in the web of those people who feel legacy is all about transferring monetary value or assets transfer. But you must understand that your legacy involves something that is passed on which includes both your ethics, core values and impact. Someone once defined legacy this way, "Legacy is a measure of your impact on other people: how they think, what they say and what they do as a result of having known you". So your legacy is measured by the amount of impact you are able to make in the lives of others. For you to leave a lasting legacy it will require you to discover your purpose, deploy your potentials, become an advocate of peace, give liberally, invest in the lives of others selflessly, show others the way to true freedom through Christ etc. It is only when you are able to selflessly raise and invest in others that your legacy will not be erased nor impeded. Be determined from today to be a blessing to others so that you can leave an imprint of impact in their lives thereby making your existence count for the betterment of others. MAXIMISING THE YEAR AHEAD! To many, including my very self, 2023 has by far been tough. As the year comes to an end in the next couple of days, let us appreciate God for bringing us this far. Yes, our challenges are/ were great... but our God is greater😅🔥👏🏽 Before the year winds up, let us take stock of our actions and choices throughout the year. DECISIONS/ CHOICES / ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Take a good retrospective assessment of the actions, choices and decisions that had ill consequences on you. Bad character? Work on it Bad choices? Don't repeat them Bad associations? Discard them Bad attitude? Kill it Bad whatever? Make it good🤗 We can only succeed in the coming year when we throw away the bad weights. Hebrews 12:1-2a Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, LET US THROW OFF EVERYTHING THAT HINDERS and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with endurance, the race set out before us, FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS, the pioneer and perfecter of our Faith.🙌🏽🙏🏽
