Civil engineering covers so many areas. Probably for most, roads and bridges come to mind, and that’s part of it. Really, most areas included in public infrastructure are the things we design. Another area deals with stormwater runoff. We determine how much water runs off into streams and how deep that water flows. That part of our job used to be so slow and time consuming, and it still is when using most software. But CivilGEO, Inc. has made our jobs so much easier by automating the most tedious tasks in hydrology using #GEOHECHMS and stream hydraulics using #GEOHECRAS. CivilGEO, Inc. has shortened those tedious tasks from hours and days into minutes. I know that’s hard to imagine. A civil engineer’s time can now be more productive doing engineering rather than the tedious tasks we all hate. CivilGEO, Inc. has actually made using #HEC-HMS and #HEC-RAS fun. I’m really not kidding. When I demonstrate the software to others, they immediately want it or want me to teach them how to use it. What’s even more impressive is the technical support and training CivilGEO, Inc. offers. I cannot imagine there being another company having technical support this good. They call me to see if I’m needing any help. They usually respond to a request for Tech Support in less than 5 minutes. They work through any problem with me and if I make too big of a mess with my model, they even take it, fix my mess, and send it back to me. They know more about modeling than a FEMA PhD modeler. They have taught me things FEMA’s best didn’t know about. When I revert back to the plain HEC-RAS software, I’m reminded how fortunate I am to have the CivilGEO, Inc. version. Then there’s the mapping - #GEOHECRAS accurately maps the results in moments. You can export the mapping layers to a DXF/DWG and be done. Or if you’re using #GEOHECHMS, you will be blown away at the report IT writes. A complete report! It exports the report, index included, to a WORD document. I know, this all sounds too good to be true. But there is even more. When you think of something else you would like the software to do - just ask. I haven’t tried all that’s out there, but there can’t be better than CivilGEO, Inc. #Sponsored

Hydrologist | Hydrological and Hydraulics Modeling | Flood Modeling | Infrastructural Residual Risk Assessment | Water Resources Management | Water Resources & Climate Change
🚧 Project Update 🚧 I'm thrilled to share some key progress on the proposed route of a project project, where we are utilizing advanced hydrological and hydraulic modeling to ensure the safety and efficiency of our proposed structures. Using the licensed version of Civil Geo-HECHMS software, we've conducted a detailed flow analysis for the stream crossings along the proposed route. The attached image showcases the hydrographs generated from our calculations, highlighting various peak discharges. 🔍 Key Insights: Comprehensive analysis of multiple flow scenarios, ensuring robust design considerations. Accurate peak discharge predictions, essential for designing resilient hydraulic structures. Seamless integration of hydrological data with geographic mapping, enhancing our decision-making process. This state-of-the-art approach allows us to design infrastructure that is not only effective but also resilient against extreme weather events, safeguarding communities and ensuring long-term sustainability. I want to extend my gratitude to our dedicated team, and partners Rana Noman, Raja Qamar Ilyas, Imran Shabbir who have been instrumental in driving this project forward. Your expertise and commitment are truly invaluable. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to advance this critical infrastructure project! #CivilEngineering #Hydrology #HydraulicDesign #Infrastructure #GeoHECHMS #SustainableDevelopment #EngineeringExcellence #PrimeEngineering
