So call educated elite, holding big positions, yet still behave like uncivilised being. Sorry but that is how some educated beings have come to believe that that's a normal way of lifestyle in our society nowadays. Intellectually they lack sound judgement and sad but that's how they treat their roles and responsibilities and lack good moral judgement and work ethics.
BUAI is disgusting! I won't social and definitely won't do business with someone chewing! Em TASOL ! And please Don't tell me chewing BUAI is cultural thing..
Of the fundamental ideals upon which Democracy was founded ,one of them is When the Citizens are responsible ,the State will be accountable . If we the Citizens are not responsible ,then the line between the people and the State on matters of public importance ,right and wrong is not clearly drawn .Eventually this leads to abuse because the mechanism(Citizens) that will hold the State accountable did not earn the merit to do so by being responsible . It Starts with Us or Ends with Us .
Nowadays, fools comes in full attire and speak so intelligent- It's a showmanship, yet they are far away up in the brain!

Our own stupidity and "who cares" attitude remains as a culture within us. Until and unless, we change the way we think and act - we'll have a healthier society to live on.

Civilization is still too far away from us, Papua New Guineans. Papua New Guinea as a country had gone too quickly from colonization to independence when it should have gone from colonization to civilization, and then to independence. Papua New Guinea indeed has a unique history, transitioning from colonization to independence. While the path to civilization is multifaceted, it is essential to focus on building strong institutions, fostering education, promoting ethical values, behavioural change and sustainable development.
