😎 Want to know the secret language of computers? This week, I dove into the world of coding and discovered the magic behind the scenes. As I learned, source code is the set of instructions we write in plain text, without any fancy formatting. That's why we use a special tool called an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which is like a smart editor designed specifically for coding. At first, source code can look ✍ a bit messy, ✍ with lines of code, ✍ spaces, and a mix of words, ✍ numbers, and symbols. But it's all part of the plan. This code needs to be translated into a language that computers understand, known as machine code - a secret language for the computer's brain, the processor. 💃 💃 One of the most exciting moments for me was when I finally got to "run" my code on Kotlin Playground. I learned that running the code is actually executing it. The computer takes our human-readable instructions and converts them into machine code through a process called compiling. It's like an assembly line that transforms our code into something the computer can execute. It's been a fascinating journey to see how our simple lines of text come to life and make things happen on the screen! Watch the clip to understand more about the source code and compilation process. A special thanks to Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Somto Akujuruobi and 3MTT Nigeria for their support and guidance. #myweeklylearningjourney #3mttanambra #3mttnigeria #softwaredevelopment

WEEKLY REFLECTION 3MTT THE MAJOR PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED IN ALC/COMMUNITY THAT CAN BE ADDRESSED USING MY WEEK 1 LEARNING Problem statement. Lack of Digital literacy : Community members can not possess basic programming skills, making it difficult to collect, analyze and interpret data. FEASIBLE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM STATED Gain Foundational Knowledge - Partnerships with local organizations to provide resources, expertise, and facilities. - Mentorship program and online community for continued support and knowledge sharing. - Showcase local success stories and encourage collaboration to promote a data-driven mindset. - Identify existing resources: Utilize online platforms like Codecademy, Coursera, and edX to access introductory programming courses. - Leverage local expertise: Partner with local universities, colleges, or tech companies to access instructors and resources. Develop Basic Python Skills - Focus on practical applications: Teach Python programming concepts through hands-on exercises and real-world examples. - Use industry-specific examples: Illustrate how Python is used in local industries, such as data analysis for small businesses or automation for manufacturing. By applying these key concepts, i can create a feasible solution that addresses the problem of "Lack of digital literacy" in the local community 3MTT Nigeria MTN Nigeria NITDA Nigeria #My3MTT #3MTTWeeklyReflection #NITDANigeria #MTNNigeria #BosunTijani #ECMHub3MTTProgramKumbotsoKano.

🚀 Exciting Update from the Digital Egypt Pioneers Program (DEPI) 🚀 I’m thrilled to share that I’ve successfully completed my first project in mobile app development: the “Paint Brush App” 🖌️, using Java programming language! Throughout this journey, I dived deep into object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as inheritance and polymorphism. Here are some key learnings from this project: 🔹 Threads: Mastering multi-threading to enhance app performance. 🔹 Inner Classes: Leveraging inner classes to keep my code organized and encapsulated. 🔹 Event Handling: Implementing smooth and interactive user experiences through effective event handling. This project was a fantastic opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, hands-on environment. The skills and insights gained will undoubtedly pave the way for more advanced and innovative projects in the future. Check out the video of my app in action and my Java Basic certificate from HackerRank! https://lnkd.in/dV2C4SUi #DEPI #DigitalEgyptPioneers #Java #MobileAppDevelopment #OOP #TechInnovation

🤔 🤔 Have you ever wondered how software developers bring their ideas to life? This week, I went behind the scenes and discovered so much about programming languages and development tools. Join me as I share my findings with you! 📝 First, I learned that programming languages are the instructions that computers follow, written in a specific syntax and semantics. Each language has its unique strengths and weaknesses, and choosing the right one is crucial for a project's success. 📝 I also explored the importance of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, and Sublime Text. These powerful tools help programmers write, debug, and compile code more efficiently. 📝 Furthermore, I learned about the wealth of resources available to help programmers overcome obstacles. From official documentation to online communities and tech forums, there's a vast support system to help find solutions to common problems. Overall, this week's learning experience has given me a new appreciation for the art of programming and the tools that make it possible. I'm excited to continue learning and gaining deeper insights into software development. A big thank you to Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Somto Akujuruobi, and 3MTT Nigeria for their wonderful work, which has been a huge help to me and many others. #myweeklylearningjourney #3mttanambra #3mttnigeria #softwaredevelopment"
