MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We completed and shipped out a little over 100 Rs in just roughly 3 months! As compared to last year, 80 Rs were completed in 7 months. Another new system that we established this year is that our QC and Support Teams inspected and approved each and every unit prior to ship-out! It was definitely a great run.... we had learnings, struggles, debates, and opportunities for improvement along the way.... but we always aligned ourselves at the end of the day.... as they say, "Every rose has its thorns, just like every night has its dawn." We are now changing over and doing a series of 5S Blitz.... in preparation for the G season. 1 Year ago i received the 2022 C3 Warrior Award for leading a saving project in the supply chain with total saved value (250k USD) and I promised my boss with more similar achievements. Today and exactly 1 year after, I am proudly awarded the 2023 C3 Warrior Award for leading a new saving project in the supply chain with total saved value (520k USD). During this project I worked on different aspects of a major business area of development by: 1- Shifting the main FG warehouse of one of our runner products from a painful always full capacity bottleneck to a JIT transit warehouse by optimizing both the inflows & outflows of the warehouse processes. 2- Using the new warehouse agility allowed me to optimize all distribution activities getting to/from the warehouse leading to the saved value. I would like to thank my colleagues and my manager & mentor Eng. Mohamed Mowafy for all the time & effort he invested to support me during the run of this project.
