Transforming a sloped area adjacent to your backyard into a functional recreational space can be a rewarding project. Grade change devices, such as retaining walls, are important tools for leveling sloped areas to provide space for construction or recreation. What do we do with design ? We still utilize old principles with new ideas. Working with idea's from the past and adding new ideal's for today. The true part of design is to combine technologies with current principles. My idea for a future city is to combine all of those idea's into one city.

🔥 How do you create fire and emergency access within a congested landscape? That was the challenge faced by designers at the university student accommodation centre in York, UK. The solution? Grassroad pavers with honeycomb cells, easily manoeuvred to form complex shapes bordering the footpaths while maintaining the area's primary identity. Grasskerb GK45 units were strategically placed at the rear, serving as planters and providing free-form restraint. System: Grassroad & Grasskerb GK45 Quantity: 238 m² (Grassroad), 157 m (Grasskerb GK45) The result? A composite surface structure that not only facilitates emergency access but also preserves the natural tranquility of the landscape when not in use.
