Dressed for success at Project SEARCH Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital! Project SEARCH Interns participated in interviews this week at CDH. Interns applied for their first-round internship and met with department managers for interviews. We prepared for our interviews by discussing professional interview attire, body language, eye contact, and handshakes, and practiced mock interviews! Interns will begin to "Ease In" to their new internships next week, followed by the first full day of their internship on September 9th!

Well, it's official - all of the interviews for the Trinity College Dublin Inclusive Internship Programme are complete! Over the past three weeks, we have had the privilege of meeting with 90 students who are registered with the Disability Service for interviews. We had a few priorities for these interviews which may differ slightly from traditional interview processes: ✨ How can we minimise the anxiety or trepidation an interviewee might feel? ✨ How can we ensure that an interviewee leaves the interview feeling empowered and confident? ✨ What do we need to communicate to other TCD panelists about how to be inclusive in their interview practices? To address our priorities, we ran training for all TCD panelists, tried to give as much information about the interview location, panel etc. prior to the interview, and adapt our questions to allow individuals to showcase their passions and interests. Overall, we are so excited to welcome over 20 new interns over summer 2024... but in the meantime, we are hoping all candidates' examinations are going well!

🤔 With recruitment starting earlier each year, you need to begin your preparation early! 🎓 For example, if you’re graduating in 2027, recruitment for the 2026 summer internship will start this fall, 2024. Start networking now. 📲 Aim for at least four calls per week until fall 2024. 🙌 This is crucial because networking can not only help you secure an interview but also provide insights into the industry, specific groups, or firms. 😎 This knowledge can be leveraged during your interviews. We understand the recruitment process can be intense. 💡 If you need guidance, join the WSO Academy waitlist now - https://lnkd.in/g6dZnAk5 #investmentbanking #wallstreet #financecareers

I just published 𝟔 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 to avoid 𝐢𝐧 internship and entry-level 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝. To increase your chances of moving to the next round in internship and entry-level interviews, here are six pitfalls I advise students and young graduates to avoid: 1. Lack of Preparation Pitfall: Going into an interview without adequate research on the company, its culture, and the role you’re applying for. Solution: Research the company to understand its mission, values, and recent news. Familiarize yourself with the job description and be ready to explain how your skills and experiences align with the role Check the full article out and subscribe to my page.

Based on my experience interview for internship placement : If your interviewer say “i don’t tolerate toxic behaviour among my team” don’t believe it. Sometimes the toxic behaviour come from your employer / manager. Kindly share your thoughts 🙂
