#Blue Monday Is that so? Today is going depend for the most part on how you face into it, what you do with it and how you respond to whatever happens. Yes, the weather is terrible, yes it is just after Christmas and yes there is possibly more month than money. Today will come and go - make of it what you will. What is infinitely more interesting is that this is the week when people tend to stop their New Year Resolutions! Focus on that instead of focusing on feeling terrible because somebody assigned negativity to the third Monday in January! Decide for yourself how your day is going to be. Today is Blue Monday, the name given to the third Monday in January which is said to be the most depressing day of the year. There appears to be no scientific reason for today to be Blue Monday, it just is. There are however some who claim to have created mathematical formulas to validate today factoring in such variables as debt, monthly salary, time since Christmas, and even the time since the failure of your first New Year's resolution if you can believe it. Interesting stuff for sure, but one thing we can agree with is that there will always be times where your financial picture may cause you stress and unnecessary worry.
