According to Forbes “Employees don’t want to be treated like cogs in a machine. They want to be seen and listened to and appreciated.” That 57% (Forbes) that leave because they are not appreciated might just change their mind. So if you want great indigenous talent in your team, pay special attention to treat ALL employees with respect and care (people are watching), build your own capability, make listening a priority, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and look out for unique talents in each person.
