Main drive carousel gear box bearing replacement is a daunting task. Requires one honed to competency, excellence and experience. I recently installed the ultrasonic sensors of the Semeq brand to my main Filler drive gearbox and helped pick the high frequency coming from the gear box. Recommended learning because you can’t afford to account for the outage that comes in case of the production failure. Adherence to OEM recommendations on when you replace your gears is also important to avoid unplanned dt. Below is a snippet of how the task went and the ramp up was seamless after installation!
