In celebration of International Yoga Day 2024, and as a continuous effort to promote health and well-being of PARKians, we recently organized a week long Yoga Pose Challenge followed by a Yoga workshop at our office. This initiative was aimed at fostering a culture of fitness, mindfulness, and stress relief in our busy professional lives. The Yoga Pose Challenge brought together team members from various departments, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and camaraderie. Each participant showcased their flexibility and balance by performing different yoga poses and challenging their colleagues to perform the same which made them earn brownie points. The challenge was concluded with a Yoga Workshop, led by a certified yoga instructor which included not only physical exercises but also insightful discussions on the benefits of Ayurveda. In the end, everyone was a winner as we all took home the priceless rewards of laughter, relaxation, and a renewed sense of well-being. We are proud of our team for embracing this initiative with such enthusiasm and look forward to organizing more wellness activities in the future. When someone says, 'Yoga se hi hoga,' and we often wonder, 'Office ke saath hoga kaise?' With our hectic schedules, finding time for yoga seems tough. To tackle this, we celebrated International Yoga Day at our office. We began our International Yoga Day celebration at the office led by our fantastic instructor 'Preeti Munshi', an experienced and professional yoga trainer with many years of expertise. 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: She taught us some rejuvenating stretches and mindful breathing techniques. These practices were instrumental in improving focus and inducing relaxation, essential for navigating the demands of our office environment. 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚: We were pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of Desk and Chair Yoga techniques taught by her, which can be seamlessly integrated into our workstations. From gentle stretches to mindful breathing exercises, these practices rejuvenated our bodies and minds, enhancing productivity throughout the day. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬: The session concluded with Mindfulness Exercises with an exploration of Pranayama techniques such as Anulom Vilom and Box Breathing aimed at managing workday stresses and fostering mental clarity. These exercises left us feeling grounded and prepared to face challenges with a renewed sense of purpose. This initiative showed us that wellness and work can coexist.
