A very good initiative by PNGRFL. Rugby League is a contact game, and it's even more physical in PNG than it is played in other parts of the world. The level of brutality and toughness put in this sport is very crazy. Hence, getting injured when playing is obviously inevitable. Our rugby League players are not well looked after, although it is deemed to be a profession for those who take part in the sport. The little that they get from playing is not enough to take care of themselves, their families, and their health. This is a motivation and a relief to every players who dig their own pockets to pay their medical bills. Most of our young blokes are quitting the sport through injuries,while others don't wanna take part in fear of getting injured. Such initiative will make this sport become more professional and will encourage players to play the game we love in PNG. #One_at_a_time. #Getting_there #PNG_will_change #Great_Initiative
