Founder & CEO @ GreenTeam Building Services. We service, maintain, repair, replace, and install Water and Wastewater Utilities for Class A office, Industrial, Institutional, municipal, and healthcare facilities.
Sometimes you just need 12 hours uninterrupted to put your dreams and goals on paper, or in this case, on glass. This week we did just that, with our first of many strategy sessions on the future of GreenTeam | Building Services. We collectively put together a GreenTeam 2.0 plan. We spent the day identifying the bottlenecks in our business, and building a structure to support the scale and growth opportunities that continue to present themselves. BIG things are on the horizon for this team, and I’m ready to put the work in to “see it through”. Long days ahead, but I was born for this 💩. Time to shake things up. #strategyplanning #strategymatters #chessgame #marketshare #florida

The pitch is still relevant. To win business, for funding, to get an idea greenlit. This Throwback Thursday inspired my colleague Scott to dig into the archives, back to a Count Me In event (updated link in the comments for Nell Merlino's new website) "Make Mine a Million $ Business" These events inspired the launch of Articulate: Real and Clear Communication - the move from Theatre to the business world. I still remember the incredible people all in one room at this event and was honored to be a part of it! While well over a decade has passed, what I speak on in this clip still rings true with my clients. I meet people all the time who truly believe they're better or more authentic when they "wing it" describing what they do. Practiced doesn't automatically equate to inauthentic! You're doing yourself a favor by taking time to refine and rehearse your pitch. We cover with fake. It takes practice to be open and real. Ironic?\ #TBT #ThrowbackThursday #pitch #presentationskills

The Co-founders' Coach | Helping co-founders to prevent their relationship going tits-up and instead re-connect, align and thrive together | Qualified Executive & Mindset Coach | Brand expert | Host The co-founders' show
I work with co-founders at different stages of their partnership 🔸 when they experience tensions and it’s starting to impact the business (most common stage) 🔸when they are not clear or feel misaligned on their strategy and priorities 🔸when they grow really fast or want to scale and need time to align on where they really want to take the business But I also work 121 with founders in a co-founders’ relationship 🔸when they need to find their voice or their place in the partnership 🔸when they’re considering exiting their partnership 🔸 when they had a traumatic separation and need coaching to move on Finally, I’m brewing something for new co-founders who are starting a partnership.. ..when the sky is blue and working on the relationship is the least priority Building the right foundations at that early stage can save so much pain, drama and money later Watch the space on that one 🚀 If any of those scenarios sounds familiar and you’d like to discuss how I can help and if we’d be a good fit, book a free chat 👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/eCFbJAZ6

Nature based Wellbeing, Mindfulness Guide 🌳Focus on stress reduction🌳Staff Wellbeing 🌳Corporate Wellness🌳Private Sessions, Small Groups🌳Improving Sleep, Working Memory, Less Anxiety🌳Outdoors or In Your Workplace🌳
Definitely worth forming an orderly que for this one.
The Start Up Shed has closed its doors. *Dabs eyes with a lace hankie* What a fabulous cohort of young businesses to work with. There were videographers, copywriters, leadership coaches, health and wellness experts and forest bathers amongst others. Ten Shed sessions covering the foundations of business growth. We tackled brand story, marketing, finance, creativity and so much more. But as one door closes, as they say in Shedland, another one (is being prepared to) open. I’m oiling the hinges and giving it a lick of paint, and then the door of the next Start Up Shed will be ready to re-open. So if your business will be less than two years old in December 2024, pop yourself on the wait list so you’ll be told when applications open. Or just get the Start Up Shed low down: https://lnkd.in/enKANCDG Now pass me that paintbrush, will you?

How is your engagement rate with your alumni network? At SLP NY community and participation is everything. Our fellows stay connected for years (and now, even decades!) and give back through speaking, contributing insight, hosting (and helping us source sponors!). This past week we were thrilled to welcome Frida Polli, PhD Caroline Strzalka Selena Strandberg William Glass Andrew Holliday, Pablo Pera Kristine Pachuta, Marina Khidekel and Jonathan Wasserstrum who shared some of their best practices and lessons learned around building a founding team. Topics ranged from the tone you are looking set for the company to the important conversations that you need to have (and at different stages). What is your biggest piece of advice when building a founding team?
