"Not every journey is a win, but it's a step forward!" India's Sumit Nagal exits in the first round at the Australian Open. 🔍 It’s easy to focus on the loss, but in sports psychology, resilience is built during these moments. 💪 Tough matches like this shape an athlete’s mindset. 🌱 Every defeat holds the seeds for improvement—mentally and physically. Nagal's journey isn’t defined by a single match. It's about how he bounces back, refines his game, and keeps his mental strength intact. Sometimes, it’s not about the result, but the growth in the process. What do you think? How do athletes stay mentally strong after setbacks? #SportsPsychology #TennisMentalGame #Resilience #SumitNagal #AustralianOpen

From Heartbreak to History: Manu Bhaker's Inspiring Journey 🏅🇮🇳 In the world of business and entrepreneurship, we often talk about resilience and adaptability. Today, I want to shine a light on Manu Bhaker, whose journey exemplifies these qualities in the realm of sports. 🎯 Manu just became India's first woman shooter to win an Olympic bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event. But her path wasn't always smooth: 👉 Versatility: Excelled in multiple sports before finding her calling in shooting at 14. 👉 Early Success: Won 9 golds at the 2017 National Games, breaking records. 👉 Global Recognition: Youngest Indian to win World Cup gold at 16. 👉 Setbacks & Comebacks: Overcame equipment failure in Tokyo, bouncing back stronger. 👉 Mental Strength: Finds solace in the Bhagavad Gita, embracing detachment from outcomes. What strikes me most is Manu's ability to pivot (from boxing to shooting) and her mental resilience. Her father's words resonate deeply: "One who remains detached under all conditions... is a sage with perfect knowledge." As leaders and professionals, we can learn from Manu's journey: ✅ Embrace versatility in your skill set ✅ Don't let age limit your ambitions ✅ Find your unique source of mental strength ✅ Learn from setbacks; they're stepping stones to success Manu's story reminds us that with passion, perseverance, and the right mindset, we can turn challenges into historic achievements. What's your take on Manu's journey? How do you maintain resilience in your professional life? #ManuBhaker #OlympicSuccess #Resilience #LeadershipLessons #MentalStrength #ProfessionalGrowth

Prakash Padukone’s statement resonates deep within every Indian’s heart. “Players also need to take some responsibility. All these years we could say that there were not enough facilities or encouragement, but … generally across all sports, the top 30-40 players who had a chance of getting the medal, they have been given whatever they wanted. Even when there were some unreasonable demands, they have been met. … One thing is very clear, we need to focus on mind training.” We have placed 4th in 5 events, if you take boxing into account it will be 7 events. Some will argue that they are 4th in the world as the Olympics are for the best. Agreed they are 4th best in the world but what does it count for? Not only for the country but for them as well. Medalists in India are revered. Gone are the days when athletes would complain about no facilities (yes we still lack grassroot development when in comparison to China, USA, Japan, GBR, Korea etc..basically all those countries topping the table), we still have operational and bureaucratic hurdles. But you have reached the highest level and what matters there is your own resilience, your own mentality. Monster Mentality a word often used in a lot of sports. Sports psychology is very important and strangely a subject that has not been given enough attention in India. A lot of our athletes lost because they couldn’t handle the pressure, the archers almost shivering in the bronze match, Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty making errors on the net, one bad shot by Arjun Babuta (some of you have already forgotten him). Mental strength is as important as the physical one. “Our favourites are always under pressure. We have foreign coaches, trainers, physios, and it’s high time we have mental coaches throughout the 4 years of training. (One of the craziest mental coaching is done by the Korean archery team- Google it, damn fun to read but to endure is almost inhuman) However, as much as we need the staff to train our players, I personally think the players need to own up as well. #IndiaAtOlympics #LakshyaSen #Olympics #PrakashPadukone

Supremacy of #Manifestation 🤯, and... Sometimes it takes 6 years of glory... It might take 6 decades... But don't stop yourself from perceiving, working hard, and focusing on what you as an individual want. Most important is, consider you being there already, rather than imagining being there. This is the inspiring story of Gukesh Dommaraju from India 🇮🇳, who recently became the youngest world champion ever 🏆🥇 in the sport called "Chess". I am not surprised at all... Here's why 👇 Hearing all of his interviews, and when asked who you see the world champion in the coming years... His answer was sweet and simple - It's ME. Imagine, the power, self confidence, and grit that young guy had 6 years ago 🌱✨. He professionally started playing chess when he was 12 years old, and he always wanted to be the youngest world champion, which he manifested it 6 years ago in front of the press / cameras. But, the process of sheer perseverance, consistency, and focusing on one common #Purpose would've been nurtured way too back in himself. That's called "Manifestation" (something you perceive it so badly, and literally putting your future self in that position). This is a solid example of how perceiving what you want or to become is way more powerful than imagining in achieving it. And, this is the reality in every aspect of life too, anyone can relate who's already experienced it, giving everything by the whole heart in achieving the "COMMON GOAL". Once again, I would like to congratulate Mr. World Champion 🏆 Gukesh Dommaraju on conquering the world 🌎 at this age. Commendable 🎉👏. Up and shining, and making the whole of India proud. #Power #Manifestation #Grit #Confidence #SelfDedication #Growth #Mindset #SelfDiscipline #Motivation #Purpose Image credit: wealth - instagram page.

Manu Bhaker: A Journey of Resilience and Triumph Manu Bhaker, the remarkable young shooter who just made history as the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting, has had her share of ups and downs. Despite her early success, including a Commonwealth Games gold at 16, she faced severe criticism during the Tokyo Olympics three years ago. Her performance fell short, and the backlash was harsh. However, Manu's perspective on setbacks is inspiring. She says, "I believe that if you can’t win something, you should take lessons from it, which, in turn, will help you improve further going forward. If I didn’t have that lesson in my life, maybe I wouldn’t be here today" (Source: Indian Express). With unwavering determination and the support of her coach, Jaspal Rana, Manu bounced back spectacularly at the Paris Olympics. Lessons for Students: Achieving Stardom: Rising to prominence is achievable with immense hard work, dedication, and skill. Meeting Expectations: Living up to expectations, especially your own, is even tougher. Public Opinion: Public admiration is fleeting; failure often invites harsh criticism. Support System: A coach or mentor is your greatest strength in both good and bad times. Mental Health: Your mental well-being is crucial and often more important than physical health in any competitive field. Let's celebrate #Manu's historic achievement and hope that this is just the beginning of many more Olympic victories for India. 🇮🇳 India is a name to reckon with, and every participating nation must acknowledge that the #Indian contingent is here to stay, make a mark, and create history in the #Olympics. #ManuBhaker #Resilience #Olympics #Sports #LifeLessons #India #VIDHIVRTTISolutions

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬! 🎾 After spending an extended time in India, I realised something was missing—tennis. It is a childhood passion I have always cherished, but over the years, it quietly took a backseat. The usual excuses—travel, busy schedules, and “I’ll get to it later”—kept me away from the court. But everything changed with one simple step: I opened up. I shared my feelings with a close friend, and that small act of vulnerability opened an unexpected door—a trial session at a tennis club! Now, I am back on the court, reconnecting with something I love, and it feels incredible. Here’s what I learned: do not keep your feelings bottled up. When you share what is on your mind, amazing things can happen. You might find opportunities, support, or even a chance to rediscover a passion you thought was lost. So, let me ask you—what’s your “tennis court”? That one thing you’ve been missing but have not acted on yet? Take a step, share it with someone, and see where it leads. Drop a comment and tell me: What passion are you ready to rekindle? #life #work #inspiration #motivation #leadership #growth #success

The power of resilience: Sindhu proves it once again 💪🏸 🚨 The Context: PV Sindhu, after missing the Malaysia Open Super 1000 due to her wedding, faced an uphill battle in her India Open comeback. Rusty but determined, she clinched a 21-14, 22-20 win over world No. 24 Sung Shuo Yun of Chinese Taipei. 🔍 The Psychological Insight: Coming off a break, it’s natural to experience some mental and physical rust. But the true test is how quickly you refocus. Sindhu showed us that it’s not just about regaining form, but also embracing discomfort and building mental resilience. 🎯 Key Takeaway for Athletes: ~ Trust the process, even when things don’t feel perfect. ~ Stay present in the moment, no matter the past struggles or distractions. ~ Consistency in effort > immediate perfection. 🧠 From a Sports Psychologist's Perspective: Recovering from a break isn’t just physical—it’s a mental game too. Staying resilient, staying mentally strong, and trusting your training make all the difference. 🏆 Keep going, even when it's not easy. The comeback is always stronger. #SportsPsychology #MentalToughness #PVSindhu #IndiaOpen #Resilience #Badminton #TrustTheProcess
