The ANKA-3 is set to be equipped with two TEI (TUSAŞ Engine Industries) TF10000 turbofans, enabling it to reach supersonic speeds. This development emphasizes Turkey's commitment to creating domestic alternatives to existing technologies, with the TF10000 emerging as an upgraded version of the TF6000, offering enhanced thrust capabilities. As a pivotal part of Turkey's aerospace industry, the ANKA-3 drone, developed by TAI, boasts impressive specifications such as a wingspan of approximately 17.5 meters and a payload capacity of 750 kg. With its maiden flight on December 28, 2023, the ANKA-3 is currently powered by a single AI-322 engine, showcasing a maximum speed of 450 knots and a service ceiling of 12,000 meters. The production prototype of the Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Turkey’s first unmanned combat aircraft, has reached a significant milestone by successfully completing its maiden flight. This historic flight occurred on September 25, 2024, with the aircraft, designated TC-ÖZB3, taking off from the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu, Tekirdağ province. The successful flight marks an important advancement in Turkey's unmanned aerial technology. The Bayraktar KIZILELMA is designed for air combat missions, featuring high maneuverability and a low radar cross-section (RCS). Powered by a turbofan engine, it achieves a cruising speed of 0.6 Mach and a maximum speed of 0.9 Mach, with a payload capacity of 1.5 tons and an endurance exceeding four hours. The aircraft can operate at altitudes of up to 25,000 feet, with a service ceiling of 45,000 feet. Equipped with an AESA radar and an electro-optical targeting system, the KIZILELMA is capable of conducting autonomous missions, including takeoffs and landings on short-runway aircraft carriers. It can carry a variety of munitions, including laser-guided bombs, missiles, and long-range cruise missiles. The aircraft is available in subsonic, transonic, and supersonic variants. Transferred to the center in July, the Bayraktar KIZILELMA PT-3 successfully completed a series of critical ground tests prior to its flight. These tests included engine run-ups, automatic taxiing, rolling tests, and takeoff evaluations.
