Some trivia about my film "The Next Big Hit": Despite facing hardship and turmoil during production and distributing the film on TUBI https://lnkd.in/gkcQRxPu, several months later, I found out through a few articles that the film was one of the 265 Qualified Films Eligible for Best Picture out of 321 submissions for the Oscars 2024. It was also submitted to the SAG Awards. It was a hell of an achievement to smell the Oscar nomination, even if it was from far away! I did all of it with a micro-budget. I was completed exosted! Unfortunately, I couldn't pursue further recognition as my budget and resources hit rock bottom, and I couldn't afford to promote the film to the Academy Members with private screenings and uploading the film for Academy consideration that cost anywhere from $8k to $20k to over $ 35k to screening the film, which I couldn't afford. However, with the record that I started building, I still have the opportunity for a second chance!
