What do mediation and search and rescue activities have in common? First, no matter how much information was available at the start, it was never enough for understanding the full context and second, that understanding the context requires as diverse a spectrum of perspectives as is possible. They also share the need for clear communications, collaboration, and situational awareness. Those experiences introduced me to the concept and importance of #equifinality in the pursuit of the resilience necessary for continuation and #survival on the path to #safety.
