"The Living Self-Care Survey 2024 found lack of access to good information is a major barrier to self-care" We've found working with VCSE organisations from different communities is an effective way for those communities to have access to good info through a trusted source.

Incredible that, "only 1 in 10 people with long term conditions report being signposted to patient organisations". Health education is such an important element of supported self-management for people with long-term conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, especially as more people are moved onto patient initiated follow up. Signposting to patient organisations like NRAS is a simple way to provide people with high quality, peer reviewed health information.
