As the festive lights twinkle and 2023 waves goodbye, I can't help but look back on this year with a heart full of gratitude and pockets full of memories (and the occasional candy wrapper from all those team meetings - who knew brainstorming could be so sweet?). Although fun, you need to be highly skilled in 3 main parts: 🌟Part artist: every CMO needs to have a passion for creativity 🌟Part scientist: CMOs need to be data savvy to drive effectiveness across the board 🌟Part cheerleader: if the business doesn’t understand what you (marketing) do, then it will be hard to get investment. You need the team to back what you are doing. Since joining boots, Pete has increased the marketing budget by 35%. Talk about elevating creativity to the board!
