Assay results from Phase 3 diamond drilling at the Nevada Lithium Project returned thick, high-grade intervals confirming significant extension of mineralisation. Phase 3 DD and RC drilling which is now complete, is designed to inform the definition of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate which remains on schedule for delivery during Q1 CY2024. #FBM Technical Director, Robin Cox, commented: “These DD drill results successfully confirm a significant extension to the depth of mineralisation past that encountered in our previous RC program. Encouragingly, the DD assays also returned positive grade variability compared to the previous assays from RC samples – driven directly by improved sample quality. We've received further assay results from the diamond drilling program at our Cleveland Tin Project in Tasmania, confirming the intersection of tungsten mineralisation and additional “untargeted” tin-copper mineralisation. Drill hole C2124/C2124A, drilled to a depth of 1,122m, tested for extensions to the tungsten Mineral Resource within the highly prospective Foleys Zone. Significant intercepts include 1.1m @ 1.64% WO₃ from 702.3m and 1.09m @ 0.76% Sn and 0.77% Cu from 389.47m. Further assay results are pending and will be reported soon. Managing Director Joe David commented, “We’ve confirmed some encouraging tungsten mineralisation as we enter the start of the targeted Foleys Zone which has ~420m of visual tungsten mineralisation as reported last week. We have outlined several exceptional copper and gold targets at Green Bay, highlighting strong potential for new discoveries to be made outside of the project’s Ming mine. We will now seek to refine these targets by conducting the first modern geophysical campaign at Green Bay. Downhole EM and regional gravity surveys already underway and VTEM will be flown imminently; surface drilling is set to start soon after. Our Managing Director Steve Parsons said: “The outstanding drilling results we have been generating show clearly that we are in the midst of an exceptional VMS mineralised system; and now we have identified a host of compelling targets, some of which we already know are strongly mineralised, nearby. These are high quality prospects, and any new discoveries would have potential to drive substantial increases in the Green Bay Resource at a similar high grade, creating further significant shareholder value in the process." via MiningNews.net Extensional drilling at Tennant Minerals emerging Bluebird discovery in the Northern Territory has again pushed out the known extent of the high-grade #copper-#gold zone. A western step-out hole intersected massive sulphides with a downhole intersection of 61.8m grading 2.8% copper equivalent from 149m, including 6.85m at 17.7% CuEq. Logging also returned gold grades up to 14.7 grams per tonne. The high-grade zone remains open at depth below 400m, and has been mapped for at least 800m of strike. Assays are pending for five holes testing for repeats along the 1.5km gravity-ironstone target zone. Gold Basin Resources has reported positive assay results from the initial drill holes at its Gold Basin oxide gold project in Arizona. The first two reverse-circulation holes yielded promising findings, with 138.7 meters at 0.93 g/t Au from 30.5 meters in hole ST24-026 and 82.3 meters at 0.94 g/t Au from 36.6 meters in hole ST24-027. CEO Colin Smith highlighted that the results from resource expansion drilling at Stealth are on par with some of the best oxide gold results to date, showcasing the robust nature of the Stealth oxide gold system. The high-grade oxide gold plunge at depth in hole ST24-026 is particularly encouraging, remaining open and set for further testing in this drill program. The ongoing 3,000-meter drill campaign aims to expand the resource, delineate high-grade zones, and enhance the overall resource estimate, positioning the project for future development. The intersections from Chilwa Minerals' ongoing sonic drill program at the Mposa deposit, showed good consistency throughout the #drilling results, with higher grades of #MineralSands usually found at the surface or near it, at the beginning of the sand horizon. The average THM grade for the previous drilled holes were 5.09% and average grades for the first batch of this campaign is 6.6%, showing a 30% increase in grade so far, which #CHW thinks may be due to the higher sample recovery achieved via the use of sonic core drilling. We were pleased to announce the #DISCOVERY of RARE EARTH ELEMENTS (“REE”) in the new TD Zone in our #exploration and development drilling program on our Richmond Hill Gold Project in #SouthDakota this morning! Preliminary evaluation has identified high-grade #REE in and around the Twin Tunnels Breccia Pipe near surface and at depth, and within the gold resource areas being defined in its upcoming S-K 1300 compliant maiden resource, scheduled for completion in Q1 2024. Although REE will not be evaluated in the upcoming maiden resource, work has begun to characterize the distribution of REE as well as the mineralogy of the system, which may be useful in assessing the potential economic contribution to the Richmond Hill Gold Project. James Berry, VP Exploration for Dakota Gold Corp. said "The recognition of enriched REE within the gold resource area may indicate the potential coproduction of commodities and, if these initial indicators are supported by future work, could add significant value to the project..."
