Postdoctoral Researcher in Technology-enhanced Training for Neurodegenerative and Neurological Disorders

Super proud to see that the results of the grand finale of my doctorate project at ETH Zürich, the results of our randomized controlled trial, published in Alzheimer‘s & Dementia - The official journal of the Alzheimer's Association® by Wiley. The highlights: ✓ We proposed a novel intervention approach for mild neurocognitive disorders. ✓ It combines exergame-based training with biofeedback-guided resonance breathing. ✓ Our results confirm the effectiveness of this approach. ✓ Fifty-five percent of participants showed a clinically relevant improvement in response to training. I would like to thank again all the partners, collaborators and funders (especially Demenz Forschung Schweiz - Stiftung Synapsis) who made possible the successful completion of this project where we used technology from Dividat, Polar Electro Oy and Kubios to implement our training concept. #biofeedback #cognition #cognitiveimpairment #effectiveness #exercise #exergame #neuroplasticity #neuroscience #neuroscienceresearch #technology #training
