A common misconception is that you should hire a specialist over a general contractor. In reality, working with the right general contractor may be a better option. With enough experience, a great general contractor becomes an expert in multiple areas. It’s also more common for general contractors to have back office staff, project managers, and site supervisors. They can also provide warranties on projects within timeframe and budget. A relationship with a good contractor is much more valuable because they could be a one stop shop without making sacrifices on quality, price, or service! If you are wondering whether or not you should hire a general contractor or a specialist, give us a call! 📞☎️🚧⚙️🦺 #construction #constructionlife #constructionmanagement #generalcontractor #specialist #regalrestoration #regal

Need a Superintendent? 🤔 (List of Superintendents at the bottom) Looking for a top-tier Superintendent but worried about hiring the wrong person? You’re not alone. Most contractors hire someone they already know or through trusted referrals – because interviews don’t always reveal the whole story... That’s why I’ve shifted how I source Superintendents. I only work with Supts referred by people I trust—PMs, Estimators, Clients—or those willing to give solid references that I personally check. In return, I promise to keep their details anonymous to the contractors in the market for superintendents until they give me explicit permission to do otherwise. This way I can be sure my clients get access to top talent without the guesswork. No bad eggs here, just Supts with proven track records. Here is a list of Supts on my books that all come with great references: Austin, TX Dirt Supt - worked on large commercial & TxDOT projects - can run a finish blade - $120k Highway Supt - Wet utilities and Dirt - $130k Structures Supt - Working on TxDOT projects - $150k San Antonio, TX General Supt - Has done it all for 20 years - $170k General Supt - Currently Senior Supt for huge Highway Contractor - $160k Senior Highway Supt - The only weak area is structures - $150k TxDOT Wet Utilities Supt - great future ahead of him - $120k Commercial Site Prep Supt - Dirt and Utilities - Looking for $130k *Figures listed are expected salaries.* Reach out if you'd like some more details on any of these candidates. My inbox is open. #Superintendent #Austin #SanAntonio

During construction projects, the superintendent and project manager may have different responsibilities, shared responsibilities, and even different levels of authority. This all depends on the size and complexity of the project, and it may differ from project to project. Contrary to some popular misconceptions, both roles are highly professional management roles, and each requires well-developed people skills and technical knowledge. https://bit.ly/4blbVkE #constructionlaw #projectmanagerinconstruction #superintendentinconstruction
