Today, I was the keynote speaker at the European Digital Democracy Summit in Brussels.   My main messages were: 1.    We are setting up a civil society network to monitor the implementation by the Member States of the national digital roadmaps to make sure no one is left behind in the digital transformation process. 2.    We need to find the “missing link” between digitalisation and Democracy that will help sustain our democracies and counter the tendencies of shrinking civic and democratic space.
