Just came across an excellent (and quite essential!) article from Daymon that's a must-read for anyone dealing with Private Label brands (and let's be honest, 🤔 who isn't these days!). The section that really caught my attention is on Page 6, where they delve into the multi-tiered portfolio of Private Label brands. It breaks down the Value, Mainstream, Lifestyle, and Premium tiers across different generations. For instance, the Premium segment of Private Label maintains the highest purchase intent among older Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers.
