It's our 5th wedding anniversary today! 🥳 From the first day Mihir Gireeshan and I met, it was clear that we shared something extraordinary. We've laughed together, cried together, picked each other up during our worst, and run a business together. Navigating our business as two strong-willed Aquarians has been a humbling learning experience. Here's what we learnt: 1. Open communication is key. We don't always see eye-to-eye, but that's actually a good thing! Our different viewpoints spark creative solutions that we might have missed otherwise. 2. We have different strengths. We recognized this early on and assign tasks accordingly. By doing so, we delegate and create a work environment where we both thrive and do what we love. 3. Disagreements? Sure, we have them (every couple does!). But at the end of the day, we both want the same thing: for our business to succeed. This shared vision helps us overcome obstacles and work collaboratively towards our goals. Happy anniversary, love—here's to many more years of making our dreams come true together! 🌟💕

🎉 Celebrating a Milestone! 🎉 We are thrilled to celebrate Peter Hanzel‘s 20th anniversary with in our company! Over the past two decades, his dedication, expertise, and commitment have been crutial in our success. Thank you, Peter, for your remarkable contributions and unwavering loyalty. We are sure we have a lot of achievements and growth still together in front of us! Curious to know why Peter stayed with us for 20 years? Here is his answer😊 I can summarize it in 3 reasons - ordered by priority - 1. the team, 2. non-monotonous work, 3. option to choose my own path. The team makes you feel at work like on a friend event. Of course there are ups and downs, but even in downs team was there to help to get out of the ... it.  [😉]  The work was always interesting, sometimes more challenging, sometimes more annoying and of course sometimes a little monotonous as at any other work. What also helped a lot that most of my team leads have aIways acted as one of us. I started as a developer, changed to a consultant, then become a consulting manager to end up on a position of a product manager mainly of SNP DTS and CB Shell Creator. ...a campfire/beer stories could be told  [🙂] #Anniversary #Milestone #Teamwork

This is great to see - Bureau have just rebranded themselves (dropping the 'The' in the process), relaunched their website, and announced it in a typically understated fashion. Given how painfully difficult it is to apply your craft to your own business they deserve praise for doing it at all, but that they've done it effectively is no surprise. Simon, Adrian and Darren were some of the first people I went to for advice when considering going freelance, and then they became my first clients. A few (cough) years later, it's so good to see some of that early work playing into the brand they've developed for themselves - creative and technical experts who are frank, thoughtful and collaborative. I had a look back at my interview notes from their brand strategy and thought anyone interested in knowing more about them might enjoy hearing how they rate each other (fingers crossed they still feel the same way or this is awkward). ➡️ On Simon... "What Simon's doing with digital strategy is lightyears ahead of anybody else." "Simon's so confident and organised in what he does. He has a total grasp of the overall picture for our clients and that gives me the confidence to not worry or think about what he’s doing. We all respect each other's expertise." ➡️ On Adrian... "I always had him in mind when I was thinking of setting up an agency." "He brings a rigour [to his work] that not everybody does, in my experience. He's focused on quality." ➡️ On Darren... "Darren’s level of conceptual designing is unusually deep, compared with any other designers I’ve worked with. Even with the aesthetics – it's always underpinned by careful consideration." "When Darren’s design flair comes into play we design something that is truly distinctive. I'm proud of the work we've done with Darren." ➡️ And a handful of my favourites from some of their clients... "Thoughtful, reliable and just really lovely people to work with." "Attractive - not in a weird way! But working with them is really appealing." "Very friendly, very responsive, and the quality of the work was excellent." They're some of the best in the business when it come to digital strategy, brand and web and I highly recommend you check them out if you're looking for some support in any or all of those areas.
