Demonstration of the Venturi Effect for Students in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering The professors at St. Cloud State University ran labs on their new equipment that will be used for the first time in September. The video shows a demonstration on the TecQuipment venturi lab apparatus. Many other experiments will be performed. This equipment will be a great addition to the excellent programs. #engineering #bernoulli's #fluiddynamics #venturi #mechanicalengineering #environmentalengineering

These are great programs at Central Lakes College that use high quality simulators from Catapiller Inc and Simlog Inc. which allow the students to practice several skills. Great job to Anji and the team at CLC. #excavator #wheelloader #simulator #bulldozer #heavyequipment
We had a great day yesterday experiencing the Minnesota State Northern Agricultural Center of Excellence and the Central Lakes College Heavy Equipment program. While here we also cut the ribbon on a new meat cutting lab, and I thank all the partners who brought that project to fruition. Here are a few pics of our trustees enjoying the interactive experience.

Workforce Training and Credentialing Minneapolis was the location for 2 excellent national conferences this week on workforce and customized training. Sharing great ideas on micro-credentials were Sue Smith and James Wall from the SACA - Smart Automation Certification Alliance. We also had inciteful visits to local colleges. You'll see 2 students excited about learning process control at Saint Paul College-A Community and Technical College. Brad and Jim are shown with the new Amatrol Smart Manufacturing trainer. A big thank you to Daniel Heim for his effort. #microcredentials #automation #smartautomation #manufacturing #robotics #PLC #mechanical #design #engineering #fluidpower #programming

How to Program a Cobot Welding Robot Minneapolis Oxygen Company hosted an open house on the benefits of a cobot robot for welding operations. They used a FANUC America Corporation CRX robot with a Miller - Welding Equipment torch. The flexible workstation is designed by APT Manufacturing Solutions. One participant pictured is Ivy who is a student at Anoka Technical College and has worked with the Fanuc CRX robot and understood quickly the application. Crowds of People Gather to Watch a Fanuc Delta Robot Dunwoody College of Technology had a very nice booth at the Minnesota State fair. It featured a FANUC America Corporation robot handing out pins. Fair goers were asked a question. Do you like the old faves or new craze foods? Guess which won? Old faves. By the way, the project was built by a student in the automation program. There are also some pictures of running steam engines that were considered "high technology" many years ago. #robotics #hmi #plc #capstone #delta #automation #smartmanufacturing
