Paul Ramsay Foundation’s Post

Since 2020, PRF has granted approximately $23 million directly into work to address domestic and family violence (DFV) in Australia and published six stand-alone reports. Our engagement with the DFV sector has been deliberate, prioritising depth of understanding over speed. This has enabled us to build connections in the sector, build evidence about the realities confronting frontline services, as well as build internal understanding and knowledge about the DFV landscape in Australia. Read more about PRF's approach to DFV in this case study, originally published in our 2024 Annual Review: https://loom.ly/6R-_BmY

Appreciate all the work you do in this space and would love to chat further about sharing knowledge.

Sadly, but thankfully, this is why Philanthropy is so important! If only, local, state and federal governments recognised that priority investment of both funds, thought and real action are required consistently, and not just when the 'news cycle' dictates. Also acknowledging those victims who are suffering in painful silence.
