Today is International Human Rights Day, and we believe everyone has a right to a safe and secure home. In Victoria, nearly 50,000 households are currently waiting for social housing, with more than half in the priority access category, meaning they needed housing urgently. By 2036, the demand for social housing is estimated to more than triple. Access to secure housing is essential for human dignity and wellbeing. And with more and more people struggling to access a secure home, building more community housing is a critical step to safeguard this fundamental human right. The community housing sector is committed to being part of the solution, working to ensure everyone has a place to call home. To learn more about what we do, head to https://ow.ly/iNqB50Ulmcx
