The cyberattack on software firm CDK Global, which has hobbled thousands of car dealerships across the U.S., underscores a common problem in critical industries: reliance on a small number of vendors.  The problem isn’t unique to the auto industry. It is common for software providers to the airline, banking and healthcare sectors to each control about one-third of the market, my colleague Belle Lin reports.
