Small business owners, please keep this in mind that the community banks are reinvesting in the local economy where you make your living. The large on-line only banks or large brokerage companies do not. Right now, their deposit rates may be a little higher but they are siphoning money from the local economy and are investing in short term treasuries. Community banks primarily make loans to local businesses. Make it a point to reinvest in your local businesses and economy.
