We invite recent alumni of JAGSoM (Batch 2022-24) to stay connected with the institute through its Alumni Committee. A blog post below captures the advantages of staying connected with the institute. Written by junior and senior batch students, here are top 3 reasons a) You should maintain an active Student Alumni Association. It facilitates collaboration among Alumni, current students, and faculty. Organising Reunions and workshops can bring Alumni together. It creates a strong sense of mutual support and community. b) Strong connections with alumni can lead to valuable referrals and recommendations, opening doors to job opportunities and advancing career prospects. c) Mentoring programmes provide current students with valuable guidance and advice to successfully navigate a bright future for them. Some of those mentees will be happy to join your team in future. Students’ voice ! Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science listened to students voice in a Townhall before starting the annual planning for the academic year 2024 We listened to our young undergraduate students! It was a candid exchange where students openly shared their expectations and feedback. Key takeaways: - Stimulate our interest and drive: Apparently, it's not just caffeine that keeps students going; a bit of passion and excitement helps too! - Tell us why: Because "just because" doesn't cut it anymore. Tell us the reason behind what we are learning is crucial and connect with reality - Engage with us more: Give us more face time with faculty—turns out, professors are more popular than Netflix (well, almost). - Make learning practical: we like to know the real-world applications for what we are studying. Can we create real-world impact? This dialogue is crucial for fostering meaningful change and growth within KCLAS. Listening to students for better students engagement and growth Thanks to Tarun CJ Kabilesh Nataraj Nilay Singh Melshida Trinandise Kamil Varalakshmi .D Riya Shenaz Shaanvi Jessica @ashmitha #Education #StudentVoice #ContinuousImprovement #kclas

The PG Life: Sanjivani Series to dekha hi hoga shayad, Drama kuch vaisa types hi hai The transition from UG College to PG life is more than just stepping into a new academic or professional chapter— It's also about navigating the unexpected dynamics that come with it. Recently, I found myself caught in the middle of a situation that I never anticipated. My UG college culture was very different than this one, Support for each other and unity between the students was another level. PG's ki PG's se ni Banti (it's hard to manage the terms with students from different thought processes) Some of our professors and students aren't on the best of terms either. To add to the mix, there’s tension among the faculty members, including a clash with the vice principal. Amidst all this, my peers and I are expected to carry on with our responsibilities, like managing patient cases. This experience has been a reminder that life after college isn't always smooth sailing. However, these challenges teach us resilience and the importance of maintaining focus despite the noise around us. Navigating these interpersonal dynamics is crucial to our professional growth, even if it’s not what we signed up for. Have you experienced unexpected challenges in your post-graduate journey? How did you manage to stay on track? #dentalcollege #PG 2 more years to go
