Collecting water in this way allows the re-use of a valuable resource therefore reducing demand on a mains supply. Examples of what rainwater can be used for include; Flushing toilets Washing clothes in washing machines Plant watering Washing your car Rainwater Tank Filters Without proper filtration, leaves and debris can enter the rainwater tank and ultimately cause blockages. Dirt can also accumulate at the bottom of the tank. Rainwater tank filters help remove leaves and debris before they enter the tank. These filter kits are ideal for larger capacity tanks where access to regular cleaning is limited.  It is especially useful when you want to add an additional outlet for a faucet. Polydeck - Viewing / Dipping Platform over-looking Llandrindod Wells reservoir. The viewing platform had to be both extremely water resistant and accessible for all members of the public. Timber had been used previously, on other projects within the area, but proved to have a very limited life span. The council, therefore, were looking for a product with a long-life cycle, high slip resistance and could be submerged in water. Steve Gealy of Powys County Council told us. ‘We have used a number of POLYdeck™ products over the years.
