MY ARTICLE ABOUT TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER The Triumph Scrambler is a British motorcycle made by Triumph Motorcycles. Launched in 2006, it was the last Triumph styled by designer John Mockett, who had begun working with the small factory team at Triumph in 1989, rationalising existing models based on a very successful modular design plan, including the concept and styling of the unfaired Trident triples for their 1990 IFMA launch. Mockett subsequently served as principal stylist for most of the bikes introduced up to 2006. #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking

End of an era: The JLR F-TYPE ZP Edition bids farewell in stunning fashion: When Jaguar’s F-TYPE ZP first came along, it served as the true successor to the great race-winning “Project ZP” E-types of the ’60s. A winner of the World Car Design of the Year, the vehicle has since become an icon in its class, a sportscar that set the benchmark for a modern, driver-focused vehicle with that V8 soundtrack. Its exhaust note was so seminal that it would be archived in the British Library. Now, the brand is bidding adieu to the famed model with one final hurrah. The F-TYPE ZP Edition will be the final internal combustion-engined (ICE) sportscar in its portfolio. There will only be 150 ICE F-TYPE ZP Editions available. In typical Jaguar fashion, these 575PS-supercharged petrol V8 F-TYPEs feature specially curated details made with experts at recently launched SV Bespoke. #jaguar #ftype #CopyofNothing #LifeAtJLR #lastchance #collectorcars #luxury #privatewealth #privateclients #opportunity #business #british #design #interiordesign #opportunity #automotivenews #luxuryindustry https://lnkd.in/gMARfiMU

After two decades, Lamborghini has revamped its logo, giving it a cleaner aesthetic. The newly designed logo sees the Italian heritage automaker receive a renewed logo. In the simplified logo, the main bull motif is still at the center of the Lamborghini shield. However, the details have been minimized. In a statement, Lamborghini explained, “The new logo is redefined by a broader Lamborghini typeface than its predecessor and by colors that are minimal yet bold. The restyling is driven by a new strategy that involves adapting the brand’s visual expressions to better reflect the ‘brave,’ ‘unexpected’ and ‘authentic’ values of its mission.” The logo is slated to be applied onto the future car models and is set to take on the black and gold color scheme. Lamborghini has also revealed two black and white iterations. Lamborghini also added, “The iconic bull in the center of the logo has undergone a major change. For the first time, it will exist individually on the company’s digital touchpoints, separated from the classic shield to lend it even greater prominence.” The new logo is a part of Lamborghini’s rebrand strategy. 1960 – Maserati – 3500 GT Vignale Spyder Imagine you own one of 245 Vignale Spyders which were built between 1959 and 1964. It is in a nice driver’s condition, matching numbers, prominent history but you want to go to a condition level no one has ever seen so far… Italian design + German engineering = The formula for a historical peace of art that not only looks exceptionally beautiful but also drives like none other… This particular 1960 Vignale Spyder has received a nut & bolt restoration without any restriction at expert workshop in Germany. The thousands of hours spent with the connoisseurs of their craft are documented in pictures & invoices. The goal was to create a car in which you can attend any concours event & actually drive it there. It is one of the early short hood versions which makes it very agile around corners. The exterior is finished in Celeste Chiaro Metallico, which only existed from 1959 to 1963. The interior is Pelle Conolly Neutro, with natural fiber carpet. According to Maserati Classiche the car is matching numbers. Additionally this Maserati has a prominent history on owners. P.O.R. Lamborghini's new identity reflects a major shift with its minimalist logo, aligning with modern sustainability and decarbonization goals. This move towards a simplified aesthetic, featuring a sleeker bull and a new color scheme, signifies Lamborghini's attempt to stay relevant and appeal to future generations. However, this pivot towards minimalism might risk diluting Lamborghini's signature boldness and luxury, potentially alienating enthusiasts who cherish its extravagant flair. While sustainability is commendable, balancing innovation without losing the brand's unique identity is crucial. Lamborghini's challenge lies in evolving while preserving the essence that defines its luxury and performance. What do you think about the rebrand?
“The only constant in life is change”, said Ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. However, many changes need a time to get used to the new status quo. Like when Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. changes its logo for the first time in over 20 years. The new Lamborghini logo is more a restyling, a refinement of the previous one, still quite similar and recognizable. When you look at the old logo after having seen the new one, however, it will really look old to you. Do you agree? #Lamborghini #logo #restyling #corporateidentity Read more ⬇️

The 2024 McLaren GTS, unveiled as the successor to the GT, features a non-hybrid, twin-turbo V8 engine. Positioned as a more practical alternative to McLaren's regular supercar lineup and a competitor to front-engined luxury sports coupes, the GTS shares the same architecture as the GT but boasts updated styling, new interior trim, increased power from the twin-turbo V8, and several under-the-skin enhancements. Expected to launch in Europe first, Australian deliveries will follow, with a starting price of $419,392 plus on-road costs, slightly higher than the GT's $413,897. One of the most beautifully-styled cars of all-time is the 1971 Lamborghini Miura, in my opinion. What if Lambo decided to take a break from their current ultra-angular styling to pay homage to the slippery aesthetic of the 70s? It might look like the Miura 55 GT concept below. #Lamborghini #Miura #ConceptCar
