You can now use PYUSD across a variety of Crypto.com Pay functions, including: - Sending it to friends using the ‘Pay Your Friends’ feature - Buying Gift Cards from over 100 brands - Shopping on the Crypto.com App - Topping up prepaid phone numbers using Airtime anywhere in the world - Purchasing goods or cryptocurrencies on all platforms that have integrated the Crypto.com Pay checkout solution PayPal USD is designed to maintain a stable $1 USD value. It’s backed by dollar deposits, US treasuries, and cash equivalents. PYUSD is issued by Paxos Trust Company. Over the weekend, PayPal USD hit $1 billion market cap 🏆 and surpassed the milestone just 383 days after launch, which is ~2x faster than USDC and ~3x faster than USDT. We celebrate with the entire PYUSD ecosystem and crucial members of the network including Crypto.com, Solana, Phantom, MetaMask, Bybit, DeFiance Capital, Trident Digital and many more. This is just the beginning. PYUSD is the future of payments and commerce. Onward. 🚀
