In an upcoming session at the 2023 Leading Transformational Change Forum, Karen Jaw-Madson of Co.-Design of Work Experience will provide a compelling discourse titled "5 Ways Entrepreneurial Companies Can Prep for the Next Crises." Scheduled for November 3, from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm ET, this exploration is particularly salient for our times. Entrepreneurial agility, often considered a formidable asset, can paradoxically mask vulnerabilities—especially when it comes to crisis readiness. In a business landscape punctuated by uncertainties, the call of the hour is anticipatory action. Drawing from over two decades of deep-seated experience in organizational culture and change, Jaw-Madson postulates the importance of proactive measures to combat both present dilemmas and future uncertainties. What sets Jaw-Madson's approach apart is her unyielding commitment to bespoke solutions. Recognizing the variegated fabric of organizations, she eschews one-size-fits-all paradigms, championing instead the creation of strategies tailored for individual organizational ethos. Central to her methodology is the Design of Work Experience (DOWE) framework—a systematic guide devised by Co. This framework not only cultivates innovative capabilities but also engenders an enduring culture-building aptitude. In today's data-driven era, Jaw-Madson's integration of technology is noteworthy. By leveraging select software, Co. fuses human intuition with data-backed insights, offering refined solutions in diverse areas like talent optimization and change management. But perhaps the most remarkable aspect of Co.'s ethos is its emphasis on organizational self-sufficiency. Rather than creating a cycle of dependency, the aim is empowerment. Co. endeavors to elevate companies to a zenith where they can autonomously steer pivotal human-centric dynamics. Jaw-Madson's methodology, while addressing organizational issues, uniquely pivots to harnessing strengths. By focusing on amplifying what an organization does right, she fosters systemic transformation—a refreshing departure from the traditional approach that merely mitigates challenges. In essence, Karen Jaw-Madson’s session promises to be a masterclass in future-proofing businesses. In our tumultuous world where change remains the sole constant, her insights are a beacon for entrepreneurial leaders striving to not just navigate but thrive amidst adversities. 👍Growth and profit leaders are learning- and data-driven at all levels of the organization is the second attribute of "Why Some Companies Grow Amid Uncertainty — and Others Don’t" is wrote in a recent article by Simon Freakley and David Garfield in Harvard Business Review article. Working as #advisor with entrepreneurial companies I have observed that the objectives of the senior management are description of activities to be done which are not SMART! When starting to discuss about SMART objectives the company is changing because the reporting start to improve as well as fact based decision!

It's all about diving deep into servant leadership, where it's not just about us at the helm, but about everyone we're steering forward - our team, our clients, the whole crew! Here are some facts : 🍀 Building Trust: When we put our team and clients first, we're not just building bridges; we're fortifying them. Trust becomes the foundation, and loyalty, the currency. 🍀 Cultivating a Vibrant Culture: Imagine a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard. That's the magic of prioritizing others - it attracts talent like a magnet and keeps the engine running smoothly. 🍀 Fostering Openness: Got a game-changing idea? In a space where everyone's voice matters, innovation isn't just welcome; it's expected. It's how we stay nimble and ahead of the curve. 🍀 Fueling Sustainable Growth: This isn't about the quick wins. Improving Leadership through Personal Evolution 𝐈 Coach 𝐈 Project+ Change Consulting 𝐈 Furthering Talent and Org. Culture. 𝐈 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞.
We have been up to something... Building Impact and communities does take many things. Clarity on Values, them being a compass for intentions, goals and plans. Aligning all those. Consistent communication with all the notes of diversity and inclusivity, mutual respect and acceptance, respectfully acknowledging differences while collaborating well. Passion to make something good in this world. Or rather a lot of it. As a legacy leave it a better place than we entered it. You'll find you can recognise signs that harmful historic narratives dividing people along various lines seem now to have reached a tipping point and must fade out. In the current media landscape it may not seem that way. We can however look beyond the frame. Look to initiatives that are walking the talk and are putting word to action. To acknowledge all our amazing diversity and make exactly that the fuel to power positive Change. ImpactBuilders Jan Lagast and Steven Storms are driven to represent that positive Change by inspiring a community to be built around causes that improve social impact of individuals and organisations, of Leadership, while helping businesses thrive in that context. You can read more about what this all entails, by clicking on the linked image. About the common Values, the initiatives, the planned meet-ups (online and around Europe) and the stories of those who already joined, and why we find it meaningful to be part of a community like this. Sometimes in conversations it comes up that we can feel somewhat isolated even in today's interconnected world and believe that we are alone with our ideas to make a positive difference. At first. Then you realise there are actually people who resonate with things also you care about. The community platform allows to form partnerships. If you want to ask questions, exchange experiences, I'll be here, send me a message or comment. “Put Your Worst Foot Forward” I’ve wondered about this phrase, made famous by KC entrepreneur Barnett Helzberg. I recently attended a session about the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) and think I’m closer to ‘getting it’ now. The phrase ‘put your worst foot forward' encapsulates the importance of vulnerability in the mentoring process. It's about being open and honest about our challenges, a crucial step when we're making bold progress. The same openness is essential for anyone taking bold steps, whether building complex customer engagements or fostering innovation within established organizations. We should look for opportunities to up-level the mentoring support structures for our leaders in those scenarios, too. Of course, I also ‘get’ that it starts with me😉, so I took this picture to remind myself. Thanks to the HEMP: Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program team for the learning opportunity and to Brittany Fugate, Matthew Mellor, Matt Denney, and Darcy Howe for your suggestions.
