As Pride Month 🏳️🌈 unfolds, let’s reflect on how we can create a workplace where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Let’s choose inclusive language, celebrate diverse identities, and take concrete steps to support all our colleagues. Being an ally is a year-round commitment, and this month provides an opportunity to amplify our efforts. #paytestlab #pridemonth #automation #testautomation #automatedtesting

Infosys | The Test Chat | Empowering teams to master their testing capabilities while propelling individuals toward stellar career growth.
Ever felt like the backbone of a project, yet invisible at the celebration party? That's the story of many software testers out there. It's time to shine a light on the often-overlooked heroes of the tech world: software testers. Many moons ago, a major project of one of major clients I worked for was teetering on the brink of disaster. Bugs were rampant, and the deadline was looming. Enter our software testing team. With their meticulous work, the project was not just saved but turned into a success story. Yet, at the project's celebration, their efforts were barely a footnote. This isn't just about giving credit where it's due. It's about recognizing that the biases against testers can have real consequences. It demotivates a key part of our teams and can even impact the quality of our products. So, how can we turn the tide? This has repeated so many times for different projects and customers. 1. Elevate The Stories: Make a point to highlight tester success stories in meetings and internal communications. 2. Encourage Leadership Involvement: Have leaders publicly acknowledge the critical role of testers. 3. Promote a Culture of Inclusion: Create initiatives that bring testers to the forefront of project discussions and celebrations. A lot of us who are leading teams or are in managerial or leadership roles are too focused on getting things done to meet the deadlines and they simply forget to highlight the efforts of their teams. Also testers for whatever reason feel that their work will be seen and they'll be recognized. Unfortunately it doesn't happen that way. If you do not speak up you'll not be seen. It's absolutely fine to blow your own trumpet and list your accomplishments. I realized this the hard way and it is a lesson I wanted to share with you all. Remember, when we empower and celebrate ourselves and our fellow testers, we're not just boosting morale; we're investing in the quality of our work and products. Have you experienced this in your workspace? What steps did you take to address it? #softwaretesting #changemakers #empowerment #brijeshsays

On my way to dance & listening to The Culture Code - wow! Who else has read/listened to it? I’m loving how “simple” yet profound themes of safety, vulnerability, belonging, and establishing purpose lead to better team outcomes & business success than do skill or experience. It's a reminder that true synergy and growth stem from more than just skill or experience and that culture eats strategy for breakfast. What are your thoughts? Let's discuss! 🌟 #TheCultureCode #TeamSynergy
