Paytm is following unfair practice for the PayTM Business users. I opened a service request to replace Soundbox in March first week. This request has not been fulfilled yet after 3 months. Every time I follow up with call center, I am told, "Apki asuvidha ke hame khed hai, hum ne apka ticket ko highlight karke age seniors ko bhej diya hai, jaldi se apko solution mil jayega". There is no option to escalate a ticket. Customer care executive is the senior most person there. The Soundbox has not been replaced since 3 months and PayTM is happily charging the rental amount from customer. They are asking money for which they are not providing the service. I don't understand why these businesses are thriving when they are not able to hold the ground. #PayTM #PayTMBusiness Vijay Shekhar Sharma

One of the biggest hassles of this recent PayTm fiasco is switching over to an alternate FastTag, while for other Paytm use cases, there was an easy exit, this one, unfortunately, is very tedious. Given the recent mandate of one car one tag, you need to disable the existing one before getting a new one issued. The highway operators obviously don't care about this situation, They insist on crossing with an activated FastTag or paying double the Toll, and the toughest task is probably to figure out a way to remove the existing FastTag without any residue and then attach a new one. An ideal case would have been FastTag portability, allowing migrating/linking existing FastTag with other providers. It would have given other providers a good flip in their Business, If banks or other financial institutions were uninterested, Indian Highways Management Company Ltd. (IHMCL) should have taken this initiative. #paytm #fasttag #ihmcl

Paytm Concall Highlights Expect net device merchant additions to reach previous run rates by Q3 FY2025. Subscription revenue per device bottomed out in Q1, seen increasing on new merchant signups. Payment processing margin (including UPI incentive) will be in range of 5-6 bps for year. Expect growth in MTU once we start onboarding new UPI users. Expect contribution margins to remain in 50-55% range. Expect indirect expenses to come down significantly in subsequent quarters. potential transfer of Paytm’s entertainment business, a component of our marketing services, is under consideration.

I feel Paytm is getting treated like how Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli would after a couple of bad games. Till the time there was cashback, all of us were insanely loyal. A few of us would search products on Amazon, and buy it from #paytm for huge cashback. Now when they need us the most, we all talk about how there is no trust. We need to be better at supporting each other. I'm pro paytm, and I'm sure they will bounce back one way or another.
