This International Women's Day, the theme is inspiring inclusion but what does inclusion truly mean? We all want to be inclusive, but sometimes good intentions can be tangled in unconscious bias. Phrases like "Can a young mom handle this?" or dismissing someone as "laid-back" because of their background hold us back. Nature offers a beautiful metaphor for true inclusion. Trees and shrubs of all shapes and sizes flourish together, each with their own strengths. No one tries to outshine the other – they all contribute to the ecosystem's richness. On International Women's Day, here’s me reflecting on the essence of inclusion and how workplaces can nurture it for women. How do you think workplaces can be more inclusive for women?
