Good to know that the technicians feel the qualification prepares them for practice.

This month, our focus is on our GPHC revalidation – renewing our registration and proving that we continue to practice safely in the pharmacy. Here are a few reminders on CPD topics: • Planned CPD: Incorporates two separate factors, like taking part in a training course, or reading up on relevant pharmacy learning resources. • Unplanned CPD: Highlight a couple of occasions where we’ve identified new learning opportunities, for instance, when dealing with patients or other healthcare professionals. • Peer discussion: Involves someone from the same profession – taking place in person, over the phone, or via webchat. • Reflective account: Give details on our practice, main roles, and the typical patients who use our services. We offer real examples of pharmacy practice to show we meet the necessary standards. #gphcrevalidation #gphc #pharmacyregulation #pharmacysafety #PHPNHS

I have been curious about #competency-based, #time-variable models for #health #professions #education since the 2017 Harvard Macy Institute report put it right in front of me. This year, working with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) #Academic Affairs Committee, helped me to "cross the Rubicon." Chairs Denise Rhoney and Aleda M. Chen, PharmD, PhD, FAPhA were relentless in pushing our group to use strategies from #implementation #science to answer the question, "what would it take to get there?" ⚙ Can't wait to discuss more at #PharmEd24! #lookfortheblueshirts #gearingupforCBPE
