Since the early 1900s, Britain has been renowned for its automation ingenuity and groundbreaking creations. This rich heritage runs deep within our organisation, with our founders still actively involved, embodying a genuine passion for engineering. The values and expertise that have been handed down through generations are recognised and celebrated in our daily operations, ensuring we continue to uphold this legacy of excellence. With three sites in the UK and Ireland, we produce and export automation systems that manufacture medical devices relied upon by millions of people in their daily routines. Our core values have been shaped through our daily operations since the time of our founders in 1961. Across all our sites, we provide a complete ecosystem for our customers from initial R&D to aftercare, supporting them with a comprehensive whole life service. The extensive offering is why our customers frequently choose PCE for bespoke automation solutions, which has also earned us recognition from royalty with our recent King's Award success. One of the key values driving our compound annual growth rate above the industry standard is innovation. We are never satisfied with the status quo and continuously evolve our methods to deliver a standardised approach to our custom automation solutions. Whether we're producing pacemakers or urinary catheters, the same principles of excellence apply. This approach not only delivers successful automation systems on time and within budget, but also fosters cross-company collaboration ensuring our clients enjoy the positive experience they deserve throughout the capital investment process and well beyond. For simplicity and to reduce time to market, we have streamlined the process into five steps focused on OEE optimisation and risk mitigation. The first of these steps is understand their requirements. In this step, our team reviews all high level information and tailors questions about the process based on our industry knowledge gained from years of experience. Second, is to study the process. Our Sales and Applications team will review specification documents, manufacturing videos and in most cases schedule a site visit understanding the pain points experienced by the technicians carrying out the task daily. The third step is Concept Development. Within this stage, we will use tools such as 3D CAD simulations and produce a detailed presentation to ensure that every member of the team understands each step and the process in their solution. The fourth step is Co-Creating Value. Throughout the process, we collaborate closely with our customers to co-create value. By working together, we identify risk areas in the process, whether it's the first of the current procedure or quality control and mitigate these risks before full system manufacture. Finally is the Final Proposal. In the final step of the process, we present the solution to the customers, ensuring the entire team understand the solution step by step while innovation in current projects is essential to reducing the cost of ownership and improving the quality of systems. The leadership team at PCE understands that standing still is not an option, especially in today's landscape with its emerging technologies. Custom automation is challenging and poses risk to all businesses involved. At PCE, we have the experience to support our clients and mitigate these challenges through our collaboration and knowledge sharing engineering systems that not only successful today, but also sustainable for the future.
