We just had an insightful meetup about the art of communication where I shared some thoughts:   - In-person interaction with your clients in a relaxed setting is ideal for getting to know each other better - It's easier to understand what clients need in a small group, around 10-15 people - When you talk to clients genuinely, without immediately trying to sell something, they often open up about their real challenges - You don't need to guess what they want. Just ask them directly, and they'll tell you - Clients buy your experience and results. Deciding who will support your teams will determine the success of your company. Too often, an owner decides he has to settle for a certain leader because they feel there isn't any other option. Infiltrate the dealer, find the supplier - CPT Dickson - 21 Jump Street (2012) 😂 Most of the time we need to go deeper than the first level to get at the root of a problem. Therefore the dealer doesn’t matter, we need the supplier. When problems arise, it is rarely due to the crap that gets thrown out into the wild (huh, sounds familiar to the regular news cycle) 🤷♂️. The urge for many of us is to listen to the surface level rhetoric, then make a conclusion based simply off that. That base level information is really only to distract, confuse, and most likely confirm one’s own story they are telling themselves. We have to be able to infiltrate by questioning, objectively evaluating, and then moving out smartly to get to the supplier (the real issue).
