Regarding #PowderCoatingProcess, please see our standard production process through this video: 🟣 1. Preparation: Clean and prepare the surface to ensure adhesion. This involves degreasing, sandblasting, or chemical treatments. 🟠 2. Application: Spray the dry powder onto the surface using an electrostatic gun, which charges the particles to attract them to the grounded part. 🔵 3. Curing: Place the coated part in an oven to cure the powder at high temperatures (typically 350-400°F). The heat causes the powder to melt, flow, and form a uniform film. 🟢 4. Cooling: Allow the part to cool, resulting in a durable, high-quality finish. This is due to a new industry-wide regulation that prohibits the use of the chemical TIB Finish CH06, which was previously used to give our products a protective coating against water staining. 🔄 What's Changing? IAE, have upgraded our passivation tank and will now be using an alternative polycoat finish. This new coating still ensures the same high level of durability and protection, but the final product will have a more natural galvanised finish. 🔧 What Stays the Same? Rest assured, our products will continue to be hot-dip galvanised to the highest standards, and their longevity will remain unaffected.
