So today we're going to talk about how do you map your actual user account so they show up in the username when you run reports by default in Microsoft 365, the behavior is that it will obfuscate all user accounts. So even admins don't really know who this user is now this is a. U.S. company so to show the actual users so you can tally up which user had the activity. What you can do is go into your navigation menu, go into settings, go into org settings and under your organization settings you can select an option that will map out your actual users and not hide them. So if we go in here and justice going down into reports and you see right here it says display concealed user group and site names and all reports. Uncheck this option. Now once you uncheck this, you want to give it a few hours for the changes to replicate and then when you go back and we will close this out. Once you do this, give it enough time to replicate. Then when you go into your. Reports. It will map up your users with the actual name. Right now I haven't given it enough time, but it takes usually a couple of hours and then it will replace the actual username with this obfuscated account name here. So hopefully that helps you out. And this way you can kind of map and get an actual listing of the users. You can see which users are the ones that are licensed, not licensed. You might want to run a report on how many calls. People are making all that stuff. So like over here we see this user made four one to one calls but we don't know who this user is and unchecking that option will show you the actual user.
