These priorities include: ⏩ Elevating the public sector's image as an #employerofchoice; ⏩ Refining #performanceappraisal methods through 360-degree feedback; ⏩ enhancing the #managerialskills of public servants through tailored programs; ⏩ Expanding ASPA's program portfolio based on successful regional and international practices, etc. 👆 Minister Adea Pirdeni underscored that maintaining the #attractiveness of the public sector remains a top priority on Albania's agenda. To this end, Albania is developing an ambitious motivation policy aimed at retaining and attracting top talent. The ministry and the Albanian Government are giving high priority to the development of human capital, in advancing and modernising Albania’s Public Administration, in harmony with comprehensive strategies aimed at nurturing integrity in public administration. 👉 Director Maja Handjiska Trendafilova highlighted the #role of ReSPA in assisting Albania in shaping the new draft Public Administration Reform Strategy 2030, which aims to inspire #excellence in the country's public sector. Furthermore, leveraging on ReSPA’s unique regional position and linkages with the #EU, both teams discussed other upcoming avenues for broader collaboration, including regional #policydialogue, #mobility schemes and on-demand technical assistance, along with various other ReSPA initiatives aimed at fostering closer ties between the region and EU instruments such as ComPAct, PACE, and TSI.

The MMD Grant Facility Call for Proposals was launched today to support your initiatives! 💰 How many grants will be allocated? Around 10/15 grants, ranging between 300,000 and 1,500,000 euros, funded by the European Commission. 🎯 Which projects are eligible? - Projects aligned with one or more of the five domains of the JVAP framework (jvapfollowup.org) - Projects contributing to the other components of the Support Project to the Migration Mobility Dialogue (MMD) by supporting to the operationalisation of the policy decisions and Dialogue outcomes into concrete actions; and/or by generating insights, research inputs, and policy recommendations that contribute to the Dialogues’ discussions and priority-setting. - Projects implemented in one or more African Union Member States.
