Higher education professional and storyteller | passionate about higher education fundraising, the college student experience, and concurrent enrollment research.
Why even go to college? No, seriously, it’s a real question. I support higher education, credentialing in high school & the value of technical education that leads to valuable careers, but this generation of high school students are asking the question above. Spending two days at NACEP’s Policy Seminar, we’ve focused on what this question means, how we answer it & how we improve the value of an education. What was the most valuable part of your college or career readiness experience?

GATE or Placements? The “Big” Decision! ❓❓❓ The age-old question that every CS student has . Please read this post fully; it will help you make up your mind! Let me tell a quick story - I was chatting with a friend who decided to leap straight into the corporate world after BTech. He started with a humble salary of 3 lakhs per annum, and today, he’s earning a whopping 60 lakhs per annum! 💼 During one of his interviews, he was asked about the time complexity of code involving a priority queue. He wasn’t sure. Another time, in another interview, he was unsure about the number of subsets for a given set. Now, if these questions were asked to a GATE aspirant, they’d likely have answered them easily. No shade on my friend—he is a genius in his own tech stack. But it seems like he may be lacking some fundamentals. 💻 Why GATE CS? Because Basics Matter! 💻 The foundation you build with GATE will carry you far, even 10 years down the line. And these are just the benefits of the preparation itself. I'm not saying GATE is the only path, but I can assure you, it will leave you with a strong grasp of the essentials that every smart CS student should know. 💡 ___________ If there’s a topic that’s been on your mind, drop it in the comments. I’d love to create a post that could help!

In today’s fast-paced world, we are all dispensable. The only way to stay relevant is by putting in consistent effort, learning, and evolving. It’s not about holding onto a position but continuously adding value and growing with the changing times. #GrowthMindset #ContinuousImprovement #Adaptability #LearningJourney #StayRelevant
(2/5) Back in Class 10th, National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) was a popular exam. Our school was famous for getting top ranks. So, that meant a lot of mock tests and extra classes to ensure we get adequate preparation. I performed well in mock tests. I started to believe that I’d easily qualify the first round. 2 weeks before the exam, I stopped preparing. The exam didn’t go as expected. I didn’t qualify the first round. A lot of students from the school made it, including ones who didn’t perform that well in the mock tests. Learnt the difference between arrogance and confidence that day. All of us are dispensable. The only way to remain relevant is to put in consistent effort. *** No one ever goes through life without failures and mistakes. While the event might be big or small, the learning is never insignificant. I decided to share a few such incidents with the hope that penning them down will reinforce those lessons.

I apply decades of experience as a business owner to work with Small to Mid-size businesses to realize their company goals by improving their efficiency, accelerating growth and driving revenue.
Many employers now prioritize internal certification and training as part of their early careers program. They hold in-depth "boot camps" designed to teach essential skills like computer coding and development. This approach enhances skills and ensures new hires integrate seamlessly into the organization. #Hiring #Skills #TalentAcquisition #LearningAndDevelopment https://lnkd.in/gaTVmm3Y
