Passionate about using Innovative Technology to improve Human Health. Excited to be searching for a new role to bring my knowledge and experience to the Digital Health Technology Sector.
What do you think about putting health data in the hands of patients? I really enjoyed this podcast with Mohammad Al-Ubaydli and learning more about Patients Know Best. So much of the what they are doing resonates with my own learning about #digitalhealth. Here are the key points I took away: 1. Interoperability continues to be a big challenge, so put the data in the hands of the one person who is at every appointment, the patient! 2. Patients with data can get better, quicker treatment, they are also cheaper to treat 3. Being open and collaborative is the best way to make progress for patients. There is so much work to do in this space that there is room sucess and playing nicely.
No single doctor attends all your medical appointments. But you do. That makes you, the patient, the de facto integrator of the healthcare system. That insight led Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli to found Patients Know Best (PKB), Europe’s largest Personal Health Record and patient engagement platform. PKB’s purpose is to give every person the ability to access their personal health record, control who can see it and use this information to manage their health and care. Listen to how he does it on the latest episode of The Purposeful Strategist https://buff.ly/44kTOsk

The insights from The Beryl Institute Consumer Perspectives on Patient Experience 2024 can directly relate to the contact center industry, where customer interactions play a crucial role in shaping perceptions and driving loyalty. Here’s how these findings pertain to the contact center: Human Connection Is Key: Just as patients value clear communication and respect in healthcare, contact center customers expect the same. Whether through voice, email, or chat, the quality of interactions—listening, empathy, and courtesy—makes a significant difference in customer satisfaction. Clear Communication: Customers want to be understood and receive clear, concise information. Contact centers must focus on training agents to communicate effectively and avoid jargon, mirroring the healthcare priority of “communicating clearly in a way you can understand.” Outcomes Matter: Just as patients prioritize positive health outcomes, contact center customers expect timely and effective resolutions to their issues. The speed and accuracy of resolving queries directly affect customer loyalty, similar to how healthcare outcomes build trust. Customer Loyalty and Retention: Both industries face the challenge of keeping customers loyal through positive experiences. In the contact center, the ripple effect of a positive or negative interaction is huge. Happy customers share their experiences, fostering brand loyalty, while dissatisfied customers can easily switch to competitors. Empathy and Respect: Customers, like patients, want to feel valued. Training contact center agents to treat each interaction with empathy and respect ensures that the human experience remains at the forefront, which is vital for long-term success. In both healthcare and contact centers, human-centered service is essential. Providing clear, empathetic communication and achieving the desired outcomes are what make customers return and share positive stories. #ContactCenter #CustomerExperience #CX #HumanConnection #Healthcare Jennifer Carron Passon, MSOM, CPXP

🌟 The Three Key Relationships in Healthcare 🌟 A nice recap by Mary Koloroutus on the three key relationships that are essential to providing compassionate and effective care: 1. The Relationship with Ourselves: Self-connection, self-love, and self-compassion are foundational. When we nurture these within ourselves, we’re better equipped to extend care and compassion to others. 2. The Relationship with Our Team: A supportive team culture is crucial. People need to feel safe, held, and supported within their work environment to handle the stressors of healthcare and provide the best care possible. 3. The Relationship with Patients and Families: While patient care is our ultimate goal, it’s vital to recognize that strong relationships with ourselves and our team set the stage for truly effective and compassionate care. Watch this short video to learn more about how these relationships shape our ability to care for others. 📹 https://lnkd.in/grEC74Xv #Healthcare #SelfCompassion #TeamCulture

We all intuitively know that trust is a crucial factor determining how individuals (and entire populations) seek medical help. A lack of trust in the official healthcare system, or health information can lead to large groups of individuals not to seek medical help, and instead seek out alternatives. The polarization of the pro and anti-vaccine lobbies during the pandemic were a clear example of this phenomenon. So what does the research say and how can we build greater trust in Europe, and provide trusted healthcare information? Watch this insightful conversation with our Oliver Wyman Health leader, Sam Glick and Edelman's Managin director Carolyn Paul. .#OWHealth #heathcare #trust #Oliverwyman
